An Artist owned Gallery in Northleach, Gloucestershire, specialising in Picture Framing, humorous greetings cards and giftware, decoupage papers, watercolour paintings, Cotswold prints and a large selection of stunning Venetian Carnival Masks.
Whilst the bespoke picture framing service represents a large part of the business, the Gallery is also complemented by a selection of stunning Venetian Carnival Masks, Watercolour Paintings and Prints by Chris Fothergill, Decoupage Papers from Italy, animal prints by Mary Ann Rogers and a wide range of humorous greetings cards and giftware - including Spring Chicken and Free Range designs by Bev Williams, Medici Cards and Alison's Animals.
Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds, Fothergills Gallery in Northleach was established in 1988 and relocated to its present position in Tudor House, The Green, Northleach in November 1994.
Chris Fothergill is well known for his paintings and landscapes of the Cotswolds. His varied output includes cartooning and illustrating, house commissions and architectural illustrations from plans supplied, to letter carving and sign-making. In 1996 he was commissioned to design and carve a Town Sign for Northleach, which was well received and led to the commissioning of a new sign for the village of Yanworth. In addition to producing original watercolour paintings, his work has been reproduced by Judges of Hastings as a collection of Cotswold Calendars, Cotswold Greetings Cards and Giftware items.
